From there, the trek leads you through picturesque villages like Tikhedhunga and Ulleri, where you'll encounter traditional Gurung and Magar communities known for their warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage.
As you ascend towards Ghorepani, the scenery transforms into dense forests of rhododendron and oak, teeming with diverse flora and fauna. Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1,350m / 4,428ft)
Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, complete your arrival visa, which may take up to an hour. You will be greeted by your guide and transferred in a private vehicle to your hotel in Thamel. On the way, catch glimpses of the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once at the hotel, relax and prepare for the days ahead.
Day 02: Fly to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel at Lakeside (820m / 2,689ft)
After breakfast, board a scenic flight to Pokhara, approximately 20–25 minutes, with breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including Langtang (7,227m), Ganesh Himal (7,422m), Manaslu (8,163m), and Annapurna (8,091m). Catch a glimpse of the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail, 6,993m) and rolling hills, rivers, and lakes like Phewa and Begnas. Upon arrival, transfer to your Lakeside hotel and enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the lakeside area.
Day 03: Drive to Kimche (1,640m / 5,389ft) & Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m / 6,363ft)
Drive to Kimche, passing stunning vistas of Phewa Lake, Seti River Gorge, rice terraces, and local villages like Nayapul and Birethanti, home of the Gurung and Magar communities. From Kimche, enjoy a 2-hour scenic uphill trek to Ghandruk, traversing stone-paved trails, farmland terraces, small streams, waterfalls, and traditional Gurung villages, all framed by panoramic Himalayan views.
Day 04: Trek to Tadapani (2,630m / 8,626ft)
Trek through lush rhododendron and oak forests with occasional wildlife sightings, including black-faced Langurs and Himalayan pheasants. Enjoy the refreshing streams and waterfalls along the route. Stop at Bhaisi Kharka for a tea break before reaching Tadapani, where you can relax at your lodge and watch a spectacular sunset over the mountains.
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m / 9,380ft)
Begin the trek with a steep descent through rhododendron and oak forests, passing Banthanti for a tea break. Cross wooden bridges and enjoy occasional views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Ascend to Deurali Pass (3,090m) before reaching Ghorepani, where the Gurung and Magar communities will warmly welcome you.
Day 06: Sunrise Hike to Poonhill (3,210m / 10,528ft)
Wake up early to hike to Poonhill for a stunning sunrise over peaks like Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), and Nilgiri (7,061m). Return to Ghorepani for breakfast before descending to Banthanti. From there, private transportation takes you back to Pokhara, where you can relax at your hotel.
Day 07: Rest & Relaxation in Pokhara
Enjoy a leisurely day in Pokhara, walking along Phewa Lake, visiting Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Mahendra Cave, Shanti Stupa, or simply unwinding at lakeside cafés. Optional spa treatments or evening live music and local dining add to the perfect day of rest after trekking.
Day 08: Fly to Kathmandu
Take a short flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your energy level, relax or explore the vibrant Thamel markets nearby.
Day 09: Guided Tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Explore the iconic Kathmandu Valley sites, including one of the following combinations depending on your interest: Pashupatinath & Boudhanath (spiritual and cultural highlights), Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square (history and architecture), or Patan & Bhaktapur Durbar Squares (ancient Newari heritage). Each tour lasts 4–5 hours.
Day 10: Departure
Bid farewell to Nepal as you are transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport at least 3 hours before your flight. Carry home memories of stunning Himalayan peaks, cultural landmarks, and the warmth of Nepalese hospitality.
