The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola, the starting point of the trek. From there, the trail leads you through lush forests, terraced fields, and traditional Nepalese villages, offering glimpses into the rural way of life in the Himalayas.

As you ascend higher into the mountains, you'll be treated to panoramic views of Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world, as well as other peaks like Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, and Shringi Himal. Along the way, you'll pass through charming villages like Machha Khola, Jagat, and Deng, where you'll have the opportunity to interact with friendly locals and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The highlight of the trek is reaching the picturesque village of Samagaon, situated at the foot of Manaslu. Here, you'll have time to explore the village, visit ancient monasteries, and soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.

After exploring Samagaon, the journey continues with a scenic descent back to Soti Khola, where you'll bid farewell to the mountains before driving back to Kathmandu. Along the way, you'll have time to reflect on the unforgettable experiences you've had amidst the Himalayan landscape.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola.

Day 3: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola.

Day 4: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat.

Day 5: Trek from Jagat to Deng.

Day 6: Trek from Deng to Namrung.

Day 7: Trek from Namrung to Samagaon.

Day 8: Rest and acclimatize in Samagaon, explore the village.

Day 9: Trek from Samagaon to Samdo.

Day 10: Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala (Larkya Phedi).

Day 11: Cross the Larkya La Pass and descend to Besisahar. From there, drive back to Kathmandu.

Inclusion

  • Airport picks up and drops by private Car/Jeep.
  • Standard twin sharing Hotel in Kathmandu with breakfast.
  • Three meals a day (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the trek.
  • Trekking Lodge (Tea House) accommodation during the trek.

  • Strong, helpful Sherpa porters with proper safety equipment and walking equipment, his salary, food, accommodation, and insurance (one porter for two people).
  • Comprehensive medical supplies (first aid kit will be available).
  • Arrangement of emergency helicopter service (paid by your Travel Insurance Company).
  • Use of sleeping bag, down jacket, duffel bag, and walking poles (if you don’t have your own, to be returned after the trip is completed).
  • Government taxes and official expenses.
  • Guided Kathmandu sightseeing tour with private car/jeep.
  • Everest base camp trekking route map.
  • Oxygen meter to check your pulse and oxygen saturation and heart rate twice daily (Very useful to check Altitude Mountain Sickness(AMS) symptoms) which will ensure your health during the trek.
